Welcome to My Lynch Life!

At 39, I've spent the last 15 years married to the love of my life and chasing his army career all over the States. This fall, our journey took a sharp left turn when my husband, Zach, was accepted to the diplomatic side of army operations. In less than five months, we will be moving from North Carolina to California to begin language training, followed by our first trip to the region of the world he was assigned - Asia.

This is going to be quite an adventure, and this is me sharing it with you. Doing my own rough searches, I noticed a whole lot of material online for new FAOs, what the process looks like, what they can expect, how it will go. But not so much is available from the perspective of a spouse. How does this affect me and the kids? What will my challenges be throughout this journey? I couldn't find any really solid answers to those questions, and I honestly don't know if tracking down those answers and publishing them here will be any use to anyone but myself, but this is my attempt to add to the narrative for future FAO spouses.

I'd love to hear from you! Drop me a line and tell me about your own adventures.

Thanks for Reaching Out!
